Good evening neighbors!
I'm happy to announce that details for GGNA's 2018 Free Outdoor Movie Night have been finalized! The year's movie night will be taking place on the evening of Friday, August 10th, from 7:30 to 10:30pm at the Greektown Plateia, 701 South Ponca Street. This year's film will be Disney Pixar's Coco. As in years past, food and drinks will be available for sale to benefit St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to utilize.
I want to emphasize that this event is free an open to the public — all are welcome to attend. We are especially thankful for our event sponsors MECU Baltimore, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, Southeast CDC, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Yard 56, Zoulis Properties, Jason Filippou of Monument Sotheby's and Ikaros Restaurant. Our sponsors are integral towards the success of GGNA's annual Free Outdoor Movie Night and we're extremely thankful for their support.
In addition to the showing of Coco, we've been in contact with various community based vendors who will have beneficial information to share with residents. We're also planning a back to school supply drive that will benefit students of John Ruhrah Elementary Middle School. More details are pending.
Thank you to GGNA Vice President Max Green for putting this year's flyer together.
